DM winners (in bulk)

You can send DMs (Direct Messages) to campaign winners. This feature can be used for purposes such as winner notification.

Overview of the "Send Bulk DMs" Feature

DM Sending Timing

SocialDog automatically determines the timing for sending DMs. Depending on the number of messages to be sent and the sending status of other users, it may not be possible to send all DMs within the same day.

DM Sending Limit (Approximate)

Typically, you can send up to 100 messages per 24 hours. However, the number of DMs that can be sent may be reduced in certain cases, such as when sending identical message content to all recipients. If sending fails, a resend attempt will be made after 24 hours.

Sending Bulk DMs to Winners

  1. Open "Winners" for the target campaign.
  2. Click "Send Bulk DMs."
  3. On the "Send Bulk DMs" screen, enter the message content and click "Send."

Sending DMs with Embedded Gift Codes

When sending bulk DMs to winners, you can embed individual gift codes within the message.

  1. On the "Send Bulk DMs" screen, enter the message content.
  2. Click "Load Gift Codes."
  3. Enter one gift code per line and click "Load."
  4. In the "Message Content" field, enter {code} where you want to embed the gift code.
  5. Click "Send."

Gift codes cannot be manually assigned to users. SocialDog automatically determines the combination of gift codes and users.

When DM Sending Fails

The following reasons may be considered:

  • The sender account has been flagged as spam.
  • The recipient account is temporarily suspended.
  • An issue has occurred on the X (formerly Twitter) platform.

If a failure occurs, please attempt to resend the message after 30 minutes or more have passed since the failure.
