What is a Campaign?

A "campaign" in SocialDog is a unit for managing campaign applicants, winners, and potential winners.

tip

It is acceptable to create multiple campaigns, for example, when preparing multiple prizes, even if it differs from the actual campaign concept.

Choosing a Campaign Type

There are two types of campaigns available. Please select the type that best suits the campaign you wish to run.

Follow & Repost Campaign

  • This is a common campaign where the entry requirement is "Follow & Repost".
  • Applicants are automatically collected, and you can use campaign features such as applicant management and DM sending.

Entry Requirements (All of the following must be met)

  • Repost the target post
    • Before starting the campaign, you must set up a scheduled post as the entry requirement using SocialDog's campaign feature.
  • Follow the target account
    • You can select only one connected account.

Suitable Scenarios

  • You want to set "following a specific account" + "reposting a specific post" as the entry condition.
    • Follow target account for entry: Only one connected account
    • Repost target post for entry: Only one post scheduled from SocialDog

Manual Applicant Registration (CSV Import) Campaign

  • This method involves creating a CSV file of applicants using SocialDog's CSV download features or external tools, and then importing it into the "Applicants" section of the campaign feature.
  • Since you can freely add applicants via a CSV file, this supports campaigns with complex conditions.

Entry Conditions

You can freely combine the following:

  • Repost, like, or quote post the target post
  • Follow target accounts (multiple allowed)
  • Posts containing specific hashtags or keywords
  • Other conditions
    • If you can obtain usernames of users who meet the entry conditions using external tools, etc.

Suitable Scenarios

  • Complex entry conditions (e.g., hashtag posts, multiple account conditions, specific lists, etc.)
  • Follow & Repost campaigns that cannot be handled by the "Follow & Repost Campaign" type
    • Such as collaboration campaigns requiring following multiple accounts
    • If the post serving as an entry condition has already been made
  • You want to extract applicants externally and register them in bulk via a CSV file
    • E.g., setting conditions such as reposts, likes, follows, hashtag posts
  • You only want to use SocialDog for sending DMs

Basic Flow of Campaign Execution

  1. Create the campaign
  2. Post the campaign
  3. Collect applicants
    1. For Follow & Repost Campaigns
      1. Applicants are collected automatically.
    2. For other conditions
      1. You can collect applicants who meet the conditions using features like Keyword Monitor or Post Engagement, and manually add them.
      2. By verifying whether entry conditions are met using Excel or similar tools, flexible entry conditions can also be accommodated.
  4. Determine winners from applicants
  5. Send DMs to winners
