One potential cause for this issue is an "account lock" imposed by X (formerly Twitter).
Why Uninitiated Follows and Unfollows Appear
When an account lock is imposed on your X (formerly Twitter) account, your followings and followers become zero. At this time, SocialDog interprets this as an "unfollow" event. Once the account lock is lifted, your followings and followers are restored. Consequently, SocialDog displays this as a "follow" event.
Since X (formerly Twitter) does not provide a mechanism to identify an "account lock," SocialDog is unable to detect or determine an "account lock."
