This document describes the definition and criteria for determining "inactive" status.

Definition of Inactive Status

  • "Inactive" refers to users who you are following and who have not posted for a specified period. The determination of "not having posted for a specified period" is based on each user's post count and last post date.
    • Posts include "posts," "replies," "reposts," and "quote posts."
  • The Period considered inactive can be set from "3 days, 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 180 days, 365 days, or 730 days."
  • Private accounts are not evaluated for inactive status. Only public accounts are displayed as "inactive."

Inactive Status Determination Logic

If "Post Count" is 0

The user is determined as "inactive."

If "Post Count" is 1 or more

Inactive status is determined by comparing the "date of the latest post" with the date obtained by subtracting the Period considered inactive from the current date and time.

Example

  • Current Date and Time: 2023/8/23 12:00
  • "Period considered inactive": 30 days
  • Date and Time after subtracting "Period considered inactive" from current date and time: 2023/07/24 12:00
  • Determination Result
    • If the "date of the latest post" was 2023/07/24 10:00, the user is determined as "inactive."
    • If the "date of the latest post" was 2023/07/24 14:00, the user is determined as "active."
