We have resumed offering follower management and follower analytics features.

Thank you for always using SocialDog.

Today, we have reinstated the follower management and follower analytics features. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our users.

Reinstated Features

If the Twitter account you are using is a private account, the following features are not available:

  • Analytics
    • Information such as new follows and new follower counts displayed in the dashboard and follower analytics can now be viewed again.
  • Followers
    • Information such as users you are following and your followers can now be viewed again.

Background of Reinstatement

To address the recent change in Twitter API pricing, we have switched the source of follow and follower information to a joint development with NTT Data's "Nazuki no Oto".

Regarding Follow, Unfollow, Mute, Block, and Like Operations

We regret to inform you that the functionality to perform the following operations directly within SocialDog has been discontinued. Going forward, these operations must be performed on the Twitter platform:

  • Follow
  • Unfollow
  • Mute
  • Block
  • Like

Due to the paid nature of the Twitter API, restrictions have been placed on API usage limits. Consequently, it became difficult to provide these features without exceeding the API limits.

While we were able to switch to a non-Twitter API method for obtaining follower information by partnering with NTT Data's "Nazuki no Oto", this partnership does not offer the capability for operations such as follow and unfollow. Therefore, we regretfully had to discontinue these specific features.

We apologize for not meeting your expectations. We will continue to explore options to reinstate these features in the future.

Important Note

New follows, unfollows, new followers, and unfollows that occurred during the feature suspension period will be displayed as if they occurred after the features were reinstated.

Consequently, you may observe a sudden increase in the numbers for new follows, unfollows, new followers, and unfollows. We sincerely apologize, but we are unable to restore this data.

SocialDog will continue to strive for daily development to provide services that satisfy all our users.

We appreciate your continued patronage.
