This document explains the mechanism and usage of Invoice Payment (Bank Transfer).

What is Invoice Payment?

  • Invoice Payment is a method of paying by bank transfer to the bank account specified on an invoice sent via email.
  • This service utilizes "NP Kakebarai" provided by Net Protections, Inc.

Eligibility

  • Corporations
  • Sole proprietors can use this service.

Payment Term

  • Payment is due by the end of the following month for charges incurred up to the end of the current month.

Payment Method

  • Bank Transfer
  • Convenience store payment is not available.

Invoice

  • Issuance Date
    • The second business day of the month following the date the charge is incurred.
  • How to Check Invoices
    • Email (attached as a PDF file)
      • The sender will be Net Protections, Inc.
      • You can set an email address different from the one used for SocialDog login as the delivery address.

Billing Timing

With Invoice Payment, the payment due date is the end of the month following the month in which the charge is incurred.

Charges are incurred at the following timings:

  • When changing to a paid plan
    • If a free trial is applicable, at the end of the free trial period (the date the charge is incurred).
  • When the contract is renewed
  • When the plan is changed

Billing Example

Example when subscribing to a paid plan's free trial on August 25th:

Using a Paid Plan with Invoice Payment

  1. From a PC, open Change Plan. *Application for invoice payment is not available from smartphone browser versions or apps.
  2. Select [Invoice Payment] as the payment method and enter your company name, address, phone number, invoice delivery email address, etc. Please ensure accurate entry of your company name and other details, as incorrect information may result in failure of Net Protections, Inc.'s credit review.
  3. Change to a paid plan.
    1. An invoice will be sent via email on the second business day of the month following the month in which the paid service began (or the date the free trial period ended, if applicable).
  4. Please make your payment via bank transfer as per the invoice instructions. Bank transfer fees are to be borne by the customer.

Changing from Credit Card Payment to Invoice Payment

  1. Open Change Payment Method.
  2. After selecting [Invoice Payment], enter required information such as company name and address.
  3. Any charges incurred after changing to invoice payment will be billed via invoice payment.

If there are outstanding charges incurred before changing to invoice payment, they will continue to be billed via credit card payment.

Changing Invoice Payment Billing Information

You can change the registered invoice payment billing information and invoice delivery email address.

  1. Open Payment Method.
  2. Select [Invoice Payment (for corporations and sole proprietors only)].
  3. Enter the new billing information.
  4. Click [Change].

Notes

  • For billing agency purposes, receivables will be assigned to Net Protections, Inc.
  • This service cannot be used if you do not pass the credit review by Net Protections, Inc. In such cases, you will be contacted by support.
  • With invoice payment, you cannot download invoice or receipt PDF files from SocialDog.
  • If payment for invoice billing cannot be confirmed, your plan will automatically revert to the Free plan.
  • Invoice payment is only available for Japanese Yen.
