If automatic posting is not occurring after configuring RSS auto-posting, please check the following:

Is the Post Limit for the Past Month Exceeded?

There is a limit to the number of posts that can be made per month. The limit varies depending on your plan.

For more details, please refer to the pricing plan table.

Has the RSS Feed Been Updated with Different Content?

SocialDog will not post if the text to be posted is identical to or only differs by a few characters from a previously posted item.

Therefore, posts may not occur in the following cases:

  • The article title and body are identical.
  • The URL is identical.
  • When the post content is set to "Custom" and neither the article title, article description, nor URL contains keywords.

Has the Article Been Updated After RSS Feed Registration?

The RSS auto-posting feature posts once at the time of configuration. To prevent a bulk posting of old items, subsequent posts will only include items whose feed date is on or after the RSS auto-posting configuration timestamp.

For example, if you add a feed containing 10 items, one item will be posted immediately after configuration, but no further posts will occur until the RSS feed is updated. Once the RSS feed is updated, posts will resume.

Does the RSS Feed Return Within 5 Seconds?

The timeout for fetching RSS feeds from SocialDog is set to 5 seconds. Therefore, if fetching the feed takes longer than 5 seconds, an error may occur.

In such cases, please ensure that your RSS feed responds within 5 seconds.
