What to watch out for to avoid X account suspension or restrictions

This page outlines important considerations to avoid account suspension or restrictions on X (formerly Twitter).

## X (Twitter) Guidelines

First, please review the usage rules published by X (Twitter). Adhering to these rules is crucial for proper use.

- [X (Twitter) Rules](https://help.twitter.com/ja/rules-and-policies/twitter-rules)
- [Rules and best practices regarding account behavior](https://help.twitter.com/ja/rules-and-policies/twitter-rules-and-best-practices)
- [About following on X (Twitter)](https://help.twitter.com/ja/using-twitter/twitter-follow-limit)

### Following

- When following, focus on users likely to be interested in your account. If followed users find your activity unwelcome or perceive it as spam, they may block you or report spam. A high number of spam reports can lead to account suspension.
- Avoid performing a large number of follows at once. As a guideline, it is recommended to limit daily follows to approximately 10% of your follower count.

### Unfollowing

- Avoid unfollowing users within a few weeks of following them.
Mass unfollowing solely because a follow was not reciprocated is prohibited by X (Twitter) rules as "follow churn."
- Avoid performing a large number of unfollows at once. As a guideline, it is recommended to limit daily unfollows to approximately 10% of your follower count or around 400.

### Posting

- When posting content that may not be suitable for all audiences, such as explicit material, there is a high probability of discomfort for recipients. It is advisable to restrict your audience as much as possible to avoid causing offense.
- Posting URLs from the same domain repeatedly significantly increases the likelihood of being flagged as spam. It is recommended to avoid frequently posting URLs from the same domain.
- Deliver valuable information to your followers. If the number of likes and reposts is low relative to your follower count, reconsider your post content.

### Registering a Mobile Phone Number

- X (Twitter) allows you to register a mobile phone number with your account. Registering a mobile phone number helps prevent account locks, so registration is recommended.
For registration methods, please refer to X (Twitter) Help: [How to add a phone number to your account](https://help.twitter.com/ja/managing-your-account/how-to-add-a-phone-number-to-your-account).
- One mobile phone number can be registered with up to 10 X (Twitter) accounts.
Exceeding 10 accounts may affect accounts previously registered with that phone number, so please limit the registration of a single phone number to 10 accounts.

### Relationship between SocialDog and Users

As stated in the X (Twitter) rules, users are ultimately responsible for their own actions performed on their accounts, as well as for operations executed by applications linked to their accounts.

SocialDog performs actions such as following and posting solely based on user input. Operations for posts made via SocialDog must also comply with X (Twitter) rules.
