About security.
Explain the information security measures implemented by SocialDog.
ISO27001 (ISMS) Certification
SocialDog Inc. has obtained ISO27001 (ISMS) certification, an international standard also acquired by publicly traded companies, and operates in accordance with strict security standards.
ISO27001 (ISMS) certification is an international standard for protecting information assets and ensuring proper organizational security. It is also known as the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Communication Security
To prevent third-party eavesdropping or tampering with communications, all pages and all communications encrypt data using SSL/TLS.
Data Backup
Customer data is constantly backed up to prepare for failures. A system is in place to restore data even if it is lost due to human error by system administrators.
Highly Secure and Reliable Data Center
SocialDog operates on a domestic data center (Tokyo region) of Google's cloud service "Google Cloud Platform (GCP)". GCP is utilized by numerous customers worldwide and is protected by extremely high reliability and world-class security.
For more information on GCP's security, please refer to the GCP website.
However, some data, such as payment and authentication systems, may be stored outside of GCP's domestic data centers.
Credit Card Information Security
Credit card information is strictly managed by Stripe Inc., a highly reliable international payment platform that is a PCI Level 1 service provider, in compliance with PCI DSS, an industry-standard security benchmark. We do not store credit card information.
SNS IDs and Passwords
Customer SNS account data is acquired and updated using the "OAuth" mechanism. There is no need to register SNS account passwords with SocialDog, eliminating the risk of password leakage.
