What SocialDog cannot do

This page describes functions and operations not supported by SocialDog.

Bulk Operations

The following operations cannot be performed in bulk:

• Bulk follow/unfollow
• Bulk deletion of posts
• Blocking or muting users

You can perform rapid follow/unfollow actions by repeatedly clicking.

Data Acquisition Prior to Account Integration

Some data cannot be acquired before linking your social media account to SocialDog.

Limited X Premium Features

The following features of X Premium (formerly Twitter Blue) are not supported, as external APIs are not provided by X Corp.:

• Bold and italic formatting for text
• Post-publication editing

Note that long posts exceeding 140 characters are supported.

Video Thumbnail Settings

It is not possible to set thumbnail images for videos across all social media accounts.

Private Account Usage Restrictions

The following features are unavailable for private accounts:

• Analytics function
• Data acquisition using the Collect Posts Containing Keywords (Keyword Monitor) function
• Data acquisition using the View and React to Users Who Interacted with Posts function

Restrictions Due to Social Media Platform Rules

SocialDog must comply with X (formerly Twitter) official "X Rules" and "Automation Rules"; therefore, the following actions are not possible:

• Automatic sending of DMs or replies to users who followed you
• Automatic posting to timeline entries

Direct Message Viewing

• You cannot view DMs received by your linked social media accounts.
